Occupational Therapists

The Walk-With Assistant is the perfect tool for higher functioning clients who need that extra encouragement or support to obtain their treatment goals.

How can the Walk-With Assistant benefit my clients?

ArrowSchedule a WWA session that will:

  • remind your client which ADL’s the two of you are working on,
  • provide instructions or tips for easy reference, and,
  • collect information each time an ADL is completed to track progress on a daily basis between scheduled sessions.

For example, If the treatment goal is to keep a cleaner house, the WWA session could list the tasks needed to be done, time stamp when the tasks are completed, and, to promote independence, send alerts a couple of hours after the agreed task completion time only if they did not click the task as completed.
