Participating in a WWA session

Log- in and go

Once you have been assigned a WWA session, simply sit back and let WWA prompt and guide you on behalf of your professional health care provider.  After receiving an alert that you have a WWA session, simply

Checkbrowse to my.wwassist.com
Checkenter your username/password and click “Log-in”.

It’s that simple.

The first time you log-in your username and password will be the same.  You will be prompted to change your password and to read the WWA Privacy Notice and agree to the WWA Terms of Service.

How do I browse to the WWA Session log in page from my cell phone?

Internet ready cell phones often offer a ‘Link to a specific URL’ or a ‘portal’ to the internet from the ‘access the internet’ menu button.  Select either the ‘link to a specific URL’ or a ‘search the internet’ and type in my.wwassist.com to navigate to the WWA client log-in page.  A security prompt may advise you that you are accessing a private server and prompt you to hit ‘OK’ to proceed.

Once at the log-in page, we recommend you use the phone’s bookmarking features to bookmark this page.  Once bookmarked, the log in screen can be quickly and easily accessed as a bookmark.

Please refer to your cell phone instruction manual for a more detailed description of how to access a specific URL and how to bookmark a web page.

Not for use in an emergency or crisis

Due to the inherent fallibility involved in internet and wireless connections, you should never depend on a WWA session to communicate a crisis or emergency situation with your health care or professional provider.  In the case of a crisis or emergent situation, always use approved means of contacting your provider or call your local emergency hotline.

What if I forget my password?

The professional scheduling your WWA sessions can reset your password.  Passwords are automatically reset back to your user name.  You will be prompted to change it from your username when you log-in again.

What does it mean when my account is disabled?

The Walk-With Assistant automatically disables your account if your password fails three times in a row.  This feature is designed to help safeguard your information.  The professional scheduling your WWA sessions can reset your account.  Your password will be set back to your user name and you will be prompted to change it when you log-in again.

What happens if I miss a WWA session?

If you have missed a WWA session it will be waiting for you when you next log in.  The Walk-With Assistant will time stamp when you respond to WWA sessions.
